Brexit Leadership

The EU and the UK continue the Brexit trade deal negotiations beyond the already expired deadline.  Rarely have we seen such high level leaders from major economies locked in debate for so long.  But does being a high level politician make a top quality negotiator?  Or are we seeing posturing and brinksmanship for marginal gains before an eleventh hour trade deal?

Statesmen have a responsibility for the interests of their people, so should declare a conclusion soon, as everyday continuing the limbo deprives all nations time to prepare for new rules, procedures and tariffs.  I am no politician, but do know the options should be either deal or no deal, now.  Then 450 million people can focus on the other significant issues concerning them at the current time.
